We show up when the most important systems need tending — the stories, the wishes, the things that need to be said before they can't be. This work has a name now. It used to just be what some people were called to do.

How we got here

Bainbridge Death Support is named the way it is on purpose. Support, as in: someone shows up, figures out what's broken, and helps you through it. We come from media production — documentary work, digital storytelling, the kind of craft that turns a life into something you can hold. At some point the most important stories started finding us. We followed them all the way here.

Certified death doula. Sacred Crossings intensive training program.

NEDA certified. National End-of-Life Doula Alliance.

Based on Bainbridge Island. Working remotely and in person, wherever the story is.

We live on the south end of Bainbridge Island with our people and our animals. The water is close. The ferry comes and goes. This place teaches you something about impermanence whether you ask it to or not.
